Join the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent focused on information security and SIEM tools. Role Overview
In this position, you will conduct investigations related to potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety. Your expertise in SIEM tools and information security will be applied to protect against cyberattacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats while fulfilling law enforcement duties.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
- Use judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a level of physical fitness to support readiness for law enforcement duties.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Must hold a master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
Salary
Pay level for this position is USD 103,236 - 133,200 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
Education
A master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university is required.
