Job Description

The Cybersecurity Specialist role at BAE Systems Inc. focuses on cybersecurity management, compliance documentation, risk assessments, and security oversight to support government objectives.

Location: Reston, VA (onsite)

Responsibilities

Deliver subject-matter expertise for cybersecurity program management
Create and maintain compliance documentation
Perform security patching and vulnerability remediation
Oversee cybersecurity compliance activities
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
Provide intermediate level security oversight
Assist in overseeing advanced cybersecurity protocols
Support overall risk management initiatives
Ensure alignment with DoD compliance standards

Requirements

Junior level: Bachelor’s degree in a related business field with 3+ years of related experience with executive staff support experience within the last 2 years, or 7+ years of experience
Mid-level: Bachelor’s degree in a related business field with 8+ years of related experience with executive staff support experience within the last 2 years, or 10+ years of experience
Senior: Master’s degree in a related business field with 12+ years of related experience with executive staff support experience within the last 2 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of experience
