As a Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, you will apply cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate potential violations of federal laws tied to cybersecurity and public safety. The work involves investigative planning and field coordination, supported by interagency liaison and readiness for law enforcement duties.

Role Summary
Use cybersecurity expertise to investigate potential violations of federal laws related to cybersecurity and public safety. The position includes investigative activities, liaison with law enforcement agencies, and maintaining physical fitness required for law enforcement duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
- Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a level of physical fitness to ensure readiness to perform law enforcement duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field) from a U.S. accredited college or university.
