Job Description

Join the FBI in Detroit for a role that blends cybersecurity expertise with investigative duties to protect against cyber threats. Education: a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field. Citizenship: U.S. required; ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.

Note: This FBI role has been exempted from the federal civilian hiring freeze.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct investigations into potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity concerns, and public safety issues.
Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, Tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
Must be willing to travel as required.
Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
