Job Description

CA​CI is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer III to support the Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS) team on an NGA GEOINT mission. This onsite role in St. Louis, MO focuses on engineering and sustainment work across endpoint security platforms, incident handling, and the implementation of secure architectures.

The position supports endpoint security capabilities in a high-paced operational environment, including configuration, policy management, and enterprise-wide enhancements in coordination with vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and apply technologies, processes, and practices to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from malicious attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
  • Provide engineering and sustainment support for Carbon Black Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
  • Establish and maintain the computing environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Deliver detailed guidance for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet present and future capacity requirements.
  • Configure and install security products using Linux OS.
  • Partner with software vendors and the customer to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide security solutions, capabilities, and enhancements aligned to mission goals.
  • Assist with design, analysis, testing, and implementation of state-of-the-art secure architectures.
  • Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration, including policy management and database and security management tools.
  • Lead reporting, documentation, and investigation of security incidents, and oversee development and implementation of corrective measures.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance. After hire, candidates must successfully pass and maintain a government polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Cyber Security.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified (current).
  • Must obtain a CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months of the hire date.
  • Working knowledge maintaining Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering requirements using Carbon Black Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
  • Knowledge and experience supporting incident response and threat hunting solutions.
  • Strong hands-on working knowledge administering applications in a Linux environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or global networks in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
  • Understanding of and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions.
  • Experience providing status reports and products to senior management and customers.
  • Experience planning, designing, and evaluating security systems and architectures.

Salary Range: USD 75,200 - 158,100 per year.
Travel: Up to 10% (local).
Employee Type: Regular.

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI.

Additional Desired Qualifications include CSSP Infrastructure Support certification, experience with Windows Enterprise Active Directory (AD) architecture and VMware virtualization, and strong hands-on working knowledge within an AWS environment.
