Fort Worth, Texas hosts a challenging cybersecurity leadership role within Lockheed Martin's F-35 program. The F-35 Classified Cybersecurity Security Tool Lead is responsible for implementing and operating security tooling aligned with RMF and JSIG guidance across SAP environments, while coordinating procurement, deployment, and ongoing configuration. This onsite position demands hands-on expertise across WANs, ISOLAN, standalone, and lab environments, with a focus on providing authoritative information assurance guidance.
Responsibilities
- Support SAPs to ensure classified information systems meet cybersecurity requirements and applicable government directives.
- Interpret JSIG to define technical IA requirements and ensure RMF security implementations are properly applied.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage and correct security tool deployment across interconnected WANs, ISOLAN, standalone, and lab environments.
- Identify systems and tools that can enhance security posture.
- Coordinate procurement and work with administration teams to deploy, configure, and maintain security tools.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require deep technical expertise and ingenuity.
- Create system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of networked and standalone classified systems.
- Conduct system vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, media management, data integrity containment, and investigations related to IA security violations or incidents.
- Provide cybersecurity education and training for all system users on risk mitigation strategies.
- Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in Information Assurance requirements.
- Temporary travel may be required to provide Security Tool/ISSO assistance to LMAERO sites both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Professional experience configuring cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Splunk, QMULOS, and EPO.
- Hold at least a DoD 8140 IAM Level I certification, for example Security+ CE or GSLC.
