Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity expertise to drive innovative, client-focused solutions as a technical lead.
- Apply cutting-edge cybersecurity approaches to tailor customized strategies for each client engagement.
- Act as a change agent to align and onboard teams, implementing new processes and tools across organizations.
- Collaborate across cross-functional stakeholders and existing security teams to achieve aligned security outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of practical experience in cybersecurity consulting or cybersecurity management (leading teams of five or more), across diverse sectors and contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, mathematics, natural sciences, business management, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with, or extensive knowledge of, multiple areas, including but not limited to:
- Developing cybersecurity strategies or policies
- Quantifying and managing cybersecurity risk
- Leading security assessments
- Designing, transforming, implementing, and running cybersecurity programs
- Developing security architectures
- Integrating security into applications and systems
- Implementing cloud security
- Managing cybersecurity risk arising from third parties and the supply chain
- Designing and implementing identity and access management
- Developing and upskilling a cybersecurity workforce
- Delivering cybersecurity culture change, awareness, and training
- Performing continuous monitoring with SIEM, APT hunting, and UBA
- Designing and implementing vulnerability management and conducting vulnerability assessments
- Penetration testing, incident management, BCP, and DRP
- Broad knowledge of cybersecurity technologies across the organizational and acquisition lifecycle
- Working knowledge of at least two frameworks: NIST CSF, C2M2, NIST SP 800-53 and ISO/IEC 27000 family, Cloud Security Alliance CCM
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual abilities with a results-oriented mindset
- Confidence and persuasiveness in stakeholder interactions
- GenAI tool fluency and ability to validate responses (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
- Business-fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel globally to work with clients and BCG teams as project needs require
