Cybersecurity Analyst- IOT Security
Job Description
Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst with a focus on real-time monitoring and incident response. The role supports defense enhancements across cloud and on-premises environments, conducts threat intelligence analysis, and coordinates with the Information Privacy & Security Office (IPSO) and SOC to manage security risks.
Responsibilities
- Real-time security event monitoring and incident response.
- Actively manage the continuous protection of systems and information assets by leading or contributing to defense improvements involving architecture, processes, tools, and automation.
- Protect both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
- Monitor events to identify suspicious activity.
- Conduct incident investigations that drive remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with IT to perform in-depth threat intelligence analysis to identify the perpetrator, the type of attack, and the data or systems impacted.
- As a valued member of the IPSO department, work with the SOC, IPSO teams (Risk, Privacy, etc.), and IT programs to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to security risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, Information Technology, or a STEM field, or 3-4+ years of equivalent information security or IT network experience.
- Five years of experience required.
