Associate Classified Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Description
Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions is seeking an Associate Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to join the on-site team in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role centers on information system lifecycle activities, including audits, assessments, and support for Assessment and Authorization. The position carries a salary range of USD 72,700 to 109,100 per year and requires either a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
- Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Analyze to validate established security requirements and recommend additional security safeguards.
- Assist in implementing government policy, tailor processes as appropriate, and participate in and document process activities.
- Operate within formal program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging-technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
- Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in tests, analysis of results, and preparation of reports.
- Document A&A results and related technical or coordination activities, and assemble the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
- Active Security+ certification.
- Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation program) with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years, or enrollment in CE to be considered.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.

Basic qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; or Associate’s with 2 years; or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
- Active Security+ certification.
- Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or CE enrollment) with a closed investigation date in the last 6 years, or CE enrollment to be considered.

Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance, including RMF A&A.
- Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and documentation such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs.
