Chickasaw Nation Industries is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support a DevSecOps software factory platform from Fort Meade, MD (onsite). In this role, you will help keep security authorization current, strengthen compliance across the environment, and partner with engineering teams so security requirements flow into the pipelines that ship secure software.
Working with the Information Assurance (IA) team, you will serve as a primary security advisor to the Information Assurance Lead. Responsibilities include overseeing security boundaries, managing secure data transfer pathways, and ensuring pipelines remain aligned with established security baselines.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage all Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for Assessment & Authorization (A&A) to maintain the platform authorization state.
- Develop, maintain, and update System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Authorization-to-Operate (ATO) artifacts within the official eMASS repository.
- Perform Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) on vulnerability scanning results.
- Use ACAS and the IAVM/DTO process to monitor, track, and verify technical patching and remediation efforts.
- Implement and validate security controls aligned to NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 and CNSSI 1253 Rev 5.
- Support and verify technical hardening, patching, and STIG compliance across Linux, Windows, and network devices within the defined boundary.
- Conduct Security Impact Assessments (SIAs) and Risk Assessments (RAs) for proposed platform and system changes, including new tenant onboarding and API integrations, to evaluate security risk prior to implementation.
- Monitor system logs, assist with incident response activities, and help ensure continuous monitoring and compliance dashboards are accurate and up to date.
- Partner with the Lead Architect/Engineer, system administrators, and DevSecOps teams to integrate security into pipelines and ensure understanding of security requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
- DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.

Compensation and Location
Location: Fort Meade, MD (onsite).
Salary: USD 105,000 - 115,000 per year.
