IT, Accounting & Cybersecurity Instructor

Take on a flexible, part-time teaching role onsite in North Las Vegas, delivering Accounting, Information Technology Professional (ITP), and Cybersecurity programs. Courses can be taught online, in hybrid formats, or on campus. The position offers an hourly pay range of $25.00 to $35.00, a supportive academic environment with ready-to-use curriculum and instructional resources, and the chance to shape the next generation of cybersecurity and IT professionals. Relocation to North Las Vegas, NV 89081 before starting is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction using approved curriculum and lesson plans
• Facilitate classroom, online, and hybrid learning experiences
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain attendance, grading, and student records
• Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student success
• Remain current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Participate in instructor meetings and professional development activities as required

Requirements

• Three or more years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, or financial operations experience
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred but not required)
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor
• Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
• CPA (preferred but not required)
• Three or more years of professional IT experience
• Experience providing technical support, network administration, or systems support
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not required)
• CompTIA A+
• Network+
• Microsoft Certifications
• Google IT Support Professional Certificate
• Cisco Certifications
• Three or more years of professional cybersecurity experience
• Experience in security operations, compliance, network security, risk management, vulnerability assessment, or incident response
• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required)
