Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst, you will review, consolidate, and develop cybersecurity policy with government approval, aligned to applicable requirements. You will also provide technical support to programs and help assess IT policies and procedures, including briefing senior management on policy changes and progress.
- Deliver technical support for the review, analysis, development, and maintenance of CSSP and Incident Response processes, policies, and procedures across the DLA enterprise.
- Support planning and execution of annual cybersecurity exercises, including tabletop exercises (TTX) for both IT and OT enterprise programs and applications.
- Create exercise scoping documents, final reports, and debrief slides that capture lessons learned.
- Track and validate compliance with DoD, DCDC, and DLA requirements, including long-term, recurring cyber defense directives.
- Assist DLA staff in preparation for CSSP evaluations and compliance with established metrics.
- Support DLA CERT annual CSSP self-assessment efforts and other external inspections and audits by obtaining, compiling, and archiving CSSP artifacts and inspection metrics.
- Conduct an annual continuous review of DLA Cybersecurity SOPs and TTPs to ensure alignment with updated DoD and DCDC policies, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Prepare training materials to support the transition of procedures and policies for Incident Handling and Analysis to government system administrators, IA personnel, ISSMs, and incident response teams.
Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse teams and individuals.
- Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience.
- Experience with the general tenets supporting overall DoD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes.
- DOD TOP SECRET Clearance and be eligible for an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5).
- If assigned to CERT, maintain CSSP Analyst certification.
