Information Technology Specialist
Job Description
Information Technology Specialist (InfoSec) roles with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) focus on security planning, secure systems implementation, risk review, and resolving integration issues for new IT capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define the scope and level of detail for security plans and policies supporting the security program
- Lead implementation activities for projects
- Assess new system design methodologies to improve software quality
- Resolve integration issues that arise when implementing new systems with existing infrastructure
- Review proposed new systems, network, or software designs for potential security risks
Requirements

- GS-13 qualification includes one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (or equivalent) performing duties such as:
- Applying new IT security developments to ensure current guidelines are updated accurately
- Applying project management principles and methods to gain overview knowledge of future IT enterprise infrastructure
- Processing engineering concepts to comply with organizational standards
- Supporting implementation of infrastructure to secure and protect the environment
- Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date; qualification claims are subject to verification

- Salary: USD 121,785 - 158,322 per year
- Placement level: Full performance level
