Job Description
Axyde Analytics is recruiting a Cybersecurity and Contract Systems Administrator to support safe, reliable aircraft and ground fuel services across Montana and Wyoming sites. This role helps enable accountable operations with a fully qualified site team, while building readiness for NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 assessments. The position is onsite in Midlothian, VA, and is an Axyde employee role, not an independent contractor engagement.
What you’ll support
- Safe, reliable aircraft and ground fuel services with accountable operations within your assigned discipline.
- System administration practices that align to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 assessment readiness.
- Day-to-day readiness activities tied to system-boundary and data-flow definition, SSP and evidence management, access controls, incident response, and subcontractor flowdowns.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate implementation and assessment readiness for NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2, including SSP/evidence management and access control posture.
- Define and manage system boundaries and data flows, including practical incident response readiness.
- Support required, authorized access patterns, including FMD/APSR/CAC/AMPS access and tested Government viewing arrangements.
- Explain and administer how FCI/CUI is restricted to approved systems, including substantiation of readiness and how outage recovery and access termination work.
- Ensure any Government-network connection or trust requires Government authorization.
- Support operational readiness for a safe, fully qualified site team and accountable site execution under the assigned discipline.
Required hands-on skills and documentation
- Hands-on experience administering secure endpoints, including identity, access, logging, backup, and incident administration.
- Documented experience implementing applicable NIST and contract controls and supporting assessments.
- Ability to demonstrate relevant NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 readiness, including system-boundary/data-flow definition, SSP/evidence management, access controls, incident response, and subcontractor flowdowns.
- No unsupported CMMC certification claims.
- Availability for the location, hours, mobilization, and recall.
Security, assignment alignment, and verification
- Personnel clearances and system access must match actual duties.
- Roles tied to TM, acting-TM, and fuel-accounting require appropriate clearances under the solicitation; final level and timing remain subject to Government confirmation.
- No clearance sponsorship is promised.
- Axyde will verify relevant evidence and assess practical competence before assigning independent duties.
- Current site-specific permissions may be completed during mobilization; they do not waive required experience or credentials.
- Qualification is recorded for each named person and each primary/alternate task.
Training, onboarding, and application guidance
- Before unsupervised duty, complete applicable site orientation, safety, environmental/spill training, task qualifications, and base access.
- Provide a resume including dated relevant assignments and specific duties, with relevant course names/dates, licenses and endorsements/expiration dates where applicable.
- Do not submit classified information, Social Security numbers, or sensitive clearance documents with the initial application. Secure verification will be arranged.
- During screening, provide dated role-specific examples and course/license details (issuers, completion dates, and expiration dates where applicable).
Schedule, location, and compensation
- Corporate program role supporting both Montana and Wyoming sites.
- Planned allocation: 30 hours per week on average, with agreed mobilization, travel, and surge requirements.
- Work location and any remote/hybrid arrangement will be agreed before an offer; security-sensitive duties require the approved work environment.
- Pay and benefits will reflect applicable wage determinations, collective bargaining requirements, and the accepted written offer.
Technologies: NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, SSP, SPRS, FCI, CUI.
Application notes: The saved solicitation specifies Level 2, and the Self/C3PAO selection needs clarification. An individual certificate does not establish Axyde system compliance, assessment status, or SPRS affirmation.
