Role Overview
This assignment centers on applying cybersecurity and technical acumen to investigate cyber-related activity and support national security objectives. The role includes formal training, real-world investigative work, and pathways for professional advancement within a federal law enforcement context.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead investigations into potential federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
- Establish and sustain productive liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the physical fitness required to perform law enforcement duties at the necessary readiness level.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field.

Compensation
Salary range: USD 103,326 – 133,200 per year.
