Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise

This FBI role positions a Special Agent to apply cybersecurity and technology expertise in investigations and national security protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into potential violations of federal laws with emphasis on cybersecurity and public safety.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
• Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
• Maintain the requisite physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Must meet the FBI's Employment Eligibility requirements.

Education

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field.

Salary

Salary range: USD 103,326.00 to 133,200.00 per year.
