Role Summary

As a Special Agent, you will apply investigative judgment to matters involving cybersecurity and public safety, including matters that may involve potential federal law violations. Your work will include planning and conducting investigations and building effective relationships with agencies across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct investigations involving potential violations of federal laws related to cybersecurity and public safety.
Use judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet evolving investigative demands.
Develop and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
Maintain a level of physical fitness to support readiness for law enforcement duties.

Location and Salary

Location: Washington, DC (onsite)

Pay: USD 103,326 to 133,200 per year

Education

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field, from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Required Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
Must be willing to travel as required.
Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
