Senior Cybersecurity & IT Operations Task Lead
Job Description
Senior Cybersecurity & IT Operations Task Lead will provide technical and operational leadership for cybersecurity governance, risk management, and enterprise IT execution in a mission-focused federal environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity and enterprise IT activities across multiple technical teams
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
- Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability-related activities, and security compliance efforts
- Coordinate internal and external cybersecurity assessments and audits
- Manage cross-team technical dependencies and resource requirements
- Support response and coordination activities associated with significant cybersecurity incidents
- Support IT strategy, workforce planning, budgeting, and investment management
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and security-focused operational practices
- Support information security, privacy, and enterprise IT governance activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Network Security, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
- 5+ years of IT leadership and accountability experience
- 5+ years of IT strategic planning experience
- 5+ years of IT workforce planning and management experience
- 5+ years of IT budgeting experience
- 5+ years of IT investment management experience
- 5+ years of information security and privacy experience
- 5+ years supporting digital accessibility and equity considerations within enterprise IT environments
- Travel will be required for this role
Location
- Linthicum, MD (onsite)
Salary
- USD 105,000 - 183,000 per year
- Actual compensation determined based on responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements
