Job Description
In the DOJ Chief Information Officer's Cybersecurity Services Staff, this IT Specialist (INFOSEC) operates onsite in Washington, DC. The role centers on information security administration, project management, and budgetary program analysis to support federal standards and enterprise decision making.
Responsibilities
- Monitor activities to gauge staff security awareness and readiness.
- Manage high-risk IT projects that involve enterprise integrations.
- Provide guidance to support complex information security decisions.
- Develop security plans to ensure alignment with federal standards and compliance.
- Lead analyses of issues affecting component organizations.
Requirements
- United States Citizenship or National status is required.
- Successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening.
- Selective Service registration is required; refer to the Additional Information section for details.
- Financial disclosure may be required in accordance with DOJ and Federal ethics guidelines if selected.
- A potential one-year probationary period may apply; see Additional Information for specifics.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Top Secret security clearance.
