Information Systems Security Officer, Classified Cybersecurity

The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for Special Access Programs at Lockheed Martin's Waterton facility in Littleton, Colorado, partners with security teams, program offices, and government customers to manage information system security operations grounded in RMF.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day information system security operations, including hardware and software implementations.
• Manage risk to the information system by validating the technical administration of information systems in accordance with internal Lockheed Martin and customer security requirements, with emphasis on RMF.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security and network events.
• Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) addressing non-compliance within the allotted timeline.
• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in alignment with internal security policies and the security plan.
• Balance competing priorities across multiple customers and programs.
• Auditing and vulnerability management constitute a major portion of this role.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
• Proven ability to obtain and maintain security authorizations (ATO).
• Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
• Experience with information system auditing and investigations.
