Cybersecurity Lead

E Logic is seeking a senior Cybersecurity Lead for an onsite contract role in Washington, DC. The position offers a competitive annual salary of USD 125,000 and a chance to guide Navy IT security under DUSN (M) ITD. You will drive proactive threat defense, incident management, and RMF and ATO compliance under FISMA, partnering with cross functional security teams and federal program stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and strategic leadership to cybersecurity operations and monitoring teams.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning, asset testing, incident handling, and engineering remediation schedules.
• Lead the compilation and upkeep of RMF artifacts to sustain and capture agency Authorizations to Operate.
• Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across technical silos, establishing ironclad infrastructure baselines.

Requirements

• When deemed necessary by the Government, the contractor may be required to work offsite at a non-government location within 25 miles of the NCR.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in specialized cybersecurity operations and threat analysis environments.
• Active, valid CISSP credential.
• In-depth familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, federal compliance mandates, SIEM technologies, and incident response runbooks.
