Job Description

Build trust, protect access, and enable safer digital experiences by joining Deloitte’s Cyber team. In this role, you’ll work on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) engagements that support digital transformation and help protect users, consumers, and patients. You will also help clients provide consumer confidence by ensuring they know who they are dealing with and that access to data remains intact.

What you’ll do

As a Cyber Identity CIAM Security Engineer/Consultant, you’ll deliver end-to-end CIAM solutions and provide production support. You’ll design, implement, and troubleshoot scalable identity solutions using CIAM platforms and identity protocols, working across discovery, delivery, and ongoing operations.

  • Support the design and implementation of CIAM solutions aligned to client digital transformation and security objectives.
  • Contribute across end-to-end CIAM engagements, including requirements gathering, current-state assessment, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Configure and support CIAM capabilities across platforms such as Transmit Security, Ping Federate, Okta, and ForgeRock.
  • Work with authentication, federation, registration, multi-factor authentication, adaptive access, and customer identity lifecycle processes.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable identity solutions and create delivery artifacts such as documentation, process flows, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, cyber specialists, developers, testers, and alliance/vendor teams to drive delivery milestones, resolve issues, and build trusted client relationships.

Tools and protocols you’ll work with

  • Platforms: Transmit Security, Ping Federate, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity
  • Protocols: SAML, OAuth, WS-Fed

What you bring

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience within Identity and Access Management.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with customization of Transmit Security and Ping Identity tools (required).
  • Ability to travel 25–50% on average based on work, clients, and served industries/sectors.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Nice to have

  • Previous consulting or Big 4 project management experience preferred.
  • Certifications such as Ping Identity/Transmit Security certifications, CISSP, CISM, or CISA a plus.

Compensation and location

This onsite role is located in Hermitage, TN. The salary range is USD 82,600 - 162,800 per year. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differential, and Deloitte notes it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
