Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst at the 3/4 level to work on-site in Melbourne, Florida, supporting Secret clearance requirements within the CIDO Classified Solutions team. The role emphasizes information systems lifecycle activities and continuous security monitoring for government networks, combining hands-on auditing with risk-focused decision making. This position provides exposure to a broad range of security controls and government policy implementation in a collaborative, security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits and continuous monitoring of information systems, evaluating security controls, configurations, and processes to assess current security posture.
  • Assess systems and networks within the enclave, identifying deviations from established baselines, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Analyze security requirements to validate them and propose additional safeguards and requirements.
  • Support the implementation of government policy, suggest process tailoring, and document activities.
  • Maintain formal program controls to mitigate risk and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
  • Contribute to the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by accrediting authorities through pre-test preparations, test participation, result analysis, and report preparation.
  • Document the results of A&A activities and technical or coordination activities, compiling the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years; or an Associate degree with 7 years; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Security+ certification (or greater) is required to be considered.
  • A current DoD Secret clearance (minimum) is required, with the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
  • Alternate education/experience tier: Master’s degree with 6 years; or Bachelor’s with 8; or Associate with 10; or High School Diploma with 12 years of relevant experience.

Primary Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

Secondary Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
