Classified Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Description
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Melbourne, Florida operation. The on-site, full-time role supports information system lifecycle activities within the CIDO Classified Solutions team, performing audits, assessments, and security documentation to safeguard information systems. The position offers a salary range of USD 79,300 to 118,900 per year and requires a Master’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
- Assess systems and networks within the enclave and identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Analyze to validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards and requirements.
- Assist in implementing applicable government policy, tailor processes as needed, and document activities.
- Operate within strict program control processes to mitigate risk and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research, inspections, and periodic audits.
- Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) mandated by government accrediting authorities through pre-test preparations, participation in tests, analysis of results, and reporting.
- Document A&A results and related technical or coordination activities, and assemble the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
- Security+ certification is required.
- Candidates must hold a current US Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum) to be considered.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of employment.
