Analyst II, Cybersecurity

FIS Global is seeking an Analyst II, Cybersecurity to support the Network Security Engineering team. This hybrid role in Jacksonville, FL focuses on deploying, administering, and optimizing enterprise security solutions built around Palo Alto Networks technologies across hybrid environments.

Role Overview

In this position, you will work with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect to implement and improve security controls. You will also troubleshoot network security issues, assist with incident response activities, and contribute to security architecture reviews spanning on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and support Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and GlobalProtect VPN solutions.
• Implement and maintain security policies, NAT/PAT, segmentation, and threat prevention controls.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and support secure solution design across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and support incident response activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver secure business solutions.
• Use automation, scripting, and AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency and security effectiveness.
• Support change management, risk assessments, and security governance activities.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Network Security or Cyber Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, and GlobalProtect.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing security policies, NAT, VPNs, and security profiles.
• Knowledge of common cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and change management.

• Awareness of AI-driven security operations, analytics, and automation capabilities.
