Job Description

Join the Software Development Engineer role within Amazon’s Specialized Business Services Security Core Engineering Automation group, focusing on automated risk and vulnerability management solutions that support remediation and risk reduction. The position partners with software and security engineers to craft scalable architectures and improve the performance and efficiency of existing systems.

Salary

USD 158,100 - 213,800 per year

Responsibilities

Partner with software and security engineers to implement automated risk and vulnerability management workflows.
Architect scalable, low-latency, big data processing solutions.
Enhance the performance and efficiency of current systems.
Raise standards for testing, repeatability, automation, and operational excellence.
Explore, develop, and promote emerging technologies.

Requirements

At least three years of non-internship professional software development experience.
At least three years in design or architecture of new or existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
At least three years designing and building large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
