Overview

The role centers on delivering secure enterprise Java applications. It involves partnering with development and security teams to assess vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices throughout the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct application security scans using Sonatype, Fortify, and WebInspect.
• Review vulnerability reports and apply secure Java code fixes.
• Collaborate with Development and Security teams to prioritize remediation actions.
• Create and track remediation tasks within Azure DevOps (AZDO).
• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Perform unit testing to ensure high quality, secure code.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies and support production applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands on Java development experience.
• Experience with Sonatype, Fortify, and WebInspect.
• Knowledge of OWASP security principles and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (AZDO) or similar Agile tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and unit testing.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
