Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise

The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks a Special Agent with cybersecurity and technology expertise to investigate federal cyber related offenses and security cases, applying a technical background to support law enforcement duties onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into potential federal offenses, cybersecurity incidents, and related public safety matters.
• Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to address investigative demands.
• Develop and sustain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
• Maintain the physical fitness necessary to perform law enforcement duties at the required readiness level.

Qualifications and Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as the role requires.
• Compliance with the FBI employment eligibility requirements.

Compensation and Location
