Special Agent: Cybersecurity/Technology Expertise
Job Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks an agent with deep cybersecurity and technology expertise to blend technical investigation with national security work. A bachelor’s degree or higher, U.S. citizenship, willingness to travel, and eligibility for Top Secret SCI clearance are required.

Salary
USD 103,326 to 133,200 per year. Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.
Education
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead investigations into potential violations of federal law, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to address investigative demands.
- Establish and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement partners.
- Maintain the required level of physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties.
