Senior Director of Cybersecurity Strategy, Architecture & Engineering
Job Description
Delaware North is hiring a full-time Senior Director of Cybersecurity Strategy, Architecture & Engineering at its global headquarters in Buffalo, New York (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cybersecurity strategy aligned with company business goals and the risk management framework
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers to support professional growth, operational excellence, and innovation
- Architect security infrastructure and partner with solution owners to ensure security designs meet business needs
- Build long-term security strategies tied to organizational goals, risk, and technological trends
- Own the engineering side of integrating cybersecurity solutions across the organization, including SSO and related system integrations
- Manage key cybersecurity projects to deliver measurable value and improve the organization’s security posture
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed cybersecurity into strategic planning and day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information management, computer science, business administration, risk management, or a related field
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred, including CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- Minimum 8 years total information security experience, including 3 years of management experience
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, incident response, and threat intelligence practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing a high-performing team
- Extensive experience designing and implementing security architecture frameworks and standards
- Experience integrating cybersecurity technologies, including SSO, encryption, and identity management solutions
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, application security, and the SDLC
- Proficiency with current and emerging cybersecurity technologies, including cloud security architectures and secure network design

Pay
- Base salary range: $157,400 - $212,500 per year
- Annual bonus plan in addition to base salary based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan
- The advertised pay range reflects what the company believes at posting time
- In special circumstances, higher pay may be considered if a candidate’s education, training, or experience far exceeds requirements
