Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

E Logic is offering a senior cybersecurity leadership role onsite in Quantico, VA, supporting the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3). You will lead a skilled contractor team, help prevent malicious cyber activity, protect critical defense resources, and advance essential DoD missions, while serving as the primary on-site Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

The position offers a competitive compensation package of USD 114,000 per year in a mission‑driven environment. You will work onsite with a focused team dedicated to defense readiness, collaborate with government leadership, and drive risk mitigation through structured, standards‑based engineering and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site Site Lead, providing daily management, quality control, and administration for the E Logic contractor workforce.
• Lead full system life-cycle engineering, change management, and architecture modifications using system engineering guides and SAFE Agile frameworks.
• Conduct advanced threat analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis.
• Drive technical exchange meetings (TEMs), coordinate risk mitigation plans, and brief government leadership.

Requirements

• Top Secret / SCI is mandatory.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; OR a Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Current, active CISSP or equivalent senior cybersecurity certification.
• 5+ years of experience leading cybersecurity teams in a DoD environment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ people and managing technical federal contracts valued at $10M+.
