Responsibilities

• Build and test security controls for Azure resources and AWS services
• Validate control effectiveness and promote them to production workloads
• Collaborate within an agile team and actively participate in planning sessions
• Engineer and configure using CSPM tools to assess cloud workloads for compliance within a CI/CD environment
• Maintain a growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
• Assess, implement, automate, and document security solutions for Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Analyze workloads to ensure alignment with operational security requirements before production
• Work with the Cloud Security Product Owner to refine backlog items and determine priority and sizing
• Automate and orchestrate cloud software deployments to embed security standards, policies, configurations, and architectures
• Assist DevOps colleagues with development and operationalization of security practices
• Ensure the security posture of applications moving to Production

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree required

Technologies

• Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
• Security as Code (SAC) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Programming and scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Git and SQL

Compensation and location

Base salary ranges from USD 91,000 to 185,900 per year. This role is onsite in Lakewood, CO and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on company and individual performance.
