Senior Security Testing Specialist role focusing on security assessments and AI powered testing across applications, APIs, cloud environments, networks, and AI systems; onsite in Lakewood, CO.
Responsibilities
- Perform security assessments of applications, APIs, cloud platforms, networks, AI systems, and other technologies to uncover vulnerabilities, attack paths, and security control gaps.
- Administer and operate security testing capabilities, including DAST platforms, automated scanning infrastructure, vulnerability validation workflows, and testing automation.
- Create and integrate AI driven security testing capabilities, such as custom test harnesses, autonomous assessment workflows, and tooling that boosts assessment effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct targeted penetration testing and deep-dive evaluations of critical systems and business processes to reveal complex attack chains and high impact weaknesses.
- Investigate emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologies to develop innovative testing methodologies and expand vulnerability discovery.
- Review findings with stakeholders, assign risk ratings, and provide technical remediation guidance to reduce overall enterprise risk.
Requirements
- Experience performing penetration testing of applications, cloud environments, networks, or infrastructure.
- Experience administering enterprise vulnerability scanning or DAST platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or other cloud native technologies.
- Experience evaluating AI powered applications, large language models, AI agents, or machine learning systems.
- Experience testing APIs, authentication and authorization controls, and addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Experience with hardware, embedded systems, kiosks, ATMs, IoT, or other specialized security assessments.
- Experience designing AI enabled security testing harnesses, custom tooling, or automated vulnerability assessment frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of attack methodologies, vulnerability research, exploit development, adversarial testing, and security automation.

Pay transparency
Base salary: $123,200 – $228,800 per year. Salaries may vary by geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and individual performance.
