Job Description

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP Application Security Lead to drive the design and implementation of SAP security for a U.S. government SAP S/4HANA Greenfield project. You will lead a team of SAP Security Analysts, shaping security architecture and governance from discovery through delivery. The role is hybrid, with office options in Knoxville, TN and other listed U.S. locations, and the position carries a salary range of USD 100,800 to 245,500 per year; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance are required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SAP Security Analysts through the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize project tools and applications to provide SAP security solutions aligned with SAP best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in security solution selection, design, and implementation as part of the project team.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve a secure SAP environment.
  • Lead all security aspects of system builds, upgrades, patching, client copies, and system refreshes.
  • Conduct SAP security workshops with clients and project personnel.
  • Proactively engage the project team and client for requirements gathering and status reporting.
  • Develop and provide extensive training and leadership to the client and internal teams.
  • Identify and communicate security issues, risks, and opportunities to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Deliver SAP security solutions, analytics, reports, and design TDS/FDS/WRICEF documents and SOPs.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience administering SAP security for SAP applications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Experience in SAP landscape security strategy and architecture.
  • Experience supporting project implementations with SAP GRC, SAP BTP, and other SAP security tools.
  • Experience in SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based user authorization, and access controls.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and project milestones effectively.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP security configuration, user administration, user authorization troubleshooting, and role-based security development and maintenance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on a highly dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with continuous challenges.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and project development teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, and related tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
