Job Description

This on-site Top Secret Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst role in Melbourne, FL with Northrop Grumman focuses on information system lifecycle activities, A&A, ST&E, risk management, and security controls within a classified environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring across all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of information systems.
  • Assess systems and networks within the enclave to identify deviations from approved configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
  • Analyze to validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards and requirements.
  • Assist in implementing government policy changes, advise on process tailoring, and document related activities.
  • Establish strict program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems, including process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, documentation, investigations, hardware release, and emerging technology research.
  • Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities required by accrediting authorities, including pre-test preparations, test participation, results analysis, and report preparation.
  • Document the results of A&A activities and other technical or coordination efforts, compiling the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Security+ or higher certification is required.
  • Current DoD Top Secret level security clearance (minimum) is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security
  • Active Top Secret/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph is preferred
  • Security certifications such as CAP, CASP+, SecurityX, CISM, or CISSP are preferred
  • 4 years of experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework
  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development

Primary level salary range

$98,400.00 - $147,600.00
