Job Description
The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer at Kyndryl protects computer systems and networks, oversees incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting, deploying security solutions to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and to align with compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber threat hunting initiatives.
- Deploy and operate security controls using technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners.
- Implement, deploy, and maintain security solutions to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Drive the deployment of advanced security solutions that comply with regulations and industry standards while aiming to exceed expectations.
- Provide security coverage across networks, servers, systems, and hardware devices to ensure compliant deployment of solutions.
- Proactively tune systems, identify new use cases, and leverage customer and industry data to continually enhance service value.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience engineering or deploying security technologies such as EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR.
- AZ DMV experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining current security measures as well as implementing new systems.
- Experience with cloud security, cyber resiliency and incident management, Zero Trust, network and edge security, and emerging technologies like IoT and AI.
- Expertise in network, host, and cloud-based security, attack techniques, analysis, and investigation.
- Deep understanding of the current cyber threat landscape, attacker tactics, and how to investigate, contain, and recover from attacks.
