IT Security Engineer

The IT Security Engineer role at Manpower Engineering supports enterprise security initiatives within the Security Department, with a focus on Netskope deployment and DLP policy management. This onsite position in Foster City, CA offers an hourly rate of USD 90 to 100 and entails ownership of the security platform lifecycle, cross-functional collaboration, and monitoring of security alerts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and ongoing administration of Netskope Next-Generation Secure Web Gateway (NG SWG) and Netskope Network Private Access (NPA) across the enterprise.
• Design, implement, and validate Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for diverse enterprise environments.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of security platforms to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure and identity provider ecosystems.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents related to web traffic and private application access.

Requirements

• Minimum eight years of experience in network security, cloud security, or information security engineering.
• At least two years of hands-on experience deploying and managing Netskope NG SWG and/or NPA in an enterprise setting.
• Proven track record in developing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Strong understanding of zero-trust network access (ZTNA) principles and architectures.
• Experience with SSL/TLS inspection, proxy architectures, and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) functionality.
