Datasage Technologies is hiring a Network Security Engineer for a hybrid role based in Cincinnati, OH. The position focuses on implementing, troubleshooting, and administering firewall and related security and networking services, with hands-on exposure to leading firewall platforms and management tooling.

Role Focus

In this role, you will work across multiple firewall environments and security services, including threat prevention modules and centralized management platforms. You will also support VPN connectivity, network services such as DNS and DHCP, and core routing concepts used to keep security controls aligned with the network.

Responsibilities

Implement, troubleshoot, and administer Palo Alto firewalls, threat prevention modules, and the Panorama management platform
Implement, troubleshoot, and administer Checkpoint firewalls, IPS and threat prevention modules, Checkpoint MDS (R80/R81), and Checkpoint VSX solutions
Implement, troubleshoot, and administer Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, Multi-Context firewall environments, and Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO)

Requirements

Experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Checkpoint R80/R81, and Palo Alto
Experience with Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO), Checkpoint MDS/MLM, and Panorama
Experience with Zscaler Proxy (Proxy Server in the cloud)
Strong knowledge of IPSEC and SSL VPN
Good understanding of DNS and DHCP services
Good knowledge of routing concepts
Experience with static routing, OSPF, BGP, and VRF is an added advantage
Any experience with Juniper Netscreen or Fortinet FortiGate firewalls

Compensation and Schedule
