IT Network and Cybersecurity Supervisor

La Crosse Public Library in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time IT Network and Cybersecurity Supervisor to administer and secure the library's computer networks and back-end data center infrastructure, while guiding daily information technology operations. This role also carries Infrastructure Manager duties in the absence of leadership within the IT department, enabling decisive resource decisions under limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and security of the library's computer networks and back-end data center infrastructure.
• Supervise day-to-day information technology department activities.
• Assume Infrastructure Manager duties in their absence as directed.
• Handle confidential tasks and exercise significant latitude to make independent decisions and allocate resources accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related field, with two to three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrated experience with LAN/WAN networking.
• Experience configuring and administering Active Directory, Storage, NFS and Samba, desktop imaging of computers, Windows Server 2022/2025, networking equipment, SCALE HC3, VOIP, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
