Information Security Analyst

Parsons is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations as the Deputy Team Lead for the Cyber Incident Response Team. This Virginia onsite role focuses on incident response process development, log analysis and monitoring, and ongoing oversight of compliance and system readiness activities, including accreditation tracking in eMASS.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders to support system readiness.
• Create, refine, and maintain incident response processes in line with applicable agency policies and requirements.
• Conduct log analysis and monitoring to support managed services offerings.
• Review eMASS entries to support timely completion of cybersecurity compliance tasks and system accreditation milestones.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned and appropriate for the position.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience using eMASS to manage cybersecurity compliance activities, security authorization documentation, and system accreditation milestones.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Splunk, Elastic, and Linux.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Location

Location: Virginia (onsite). Salary range: USD 112,200 - 196,400 per year.
