Industrial Security Analyst - Level 2
Job Description
Northrop Grumman is hiring an Industrial Security Analyst Level 2 to support classified and personnel security efforts in Dulles, VA as a 100% onsite role. In this position, you will assist with PERSEC and program security activities tied to SAP/SCI nominations and other classified security programs, working closely with senior executives, customers, and government representatives.
Role Overview
This analyst role focuses on personnel and program security processing and execution, including document handling, database administration, and preparation of required nomination and access materials. You will also serve as a point of contact for personnel security paperwork intake and data transfers into government systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support, including review and processing of required documentation for SAP and SCI nomination processes.
- Prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings.
- Access, review, and submit clearance and access information using DISS, JADE, and other information systems.
- Maintain PERSEC databases according to customer tracking requirements.
- Maintain and operate a document control register/database.
- Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages, ensuring required information is current, forms are complete, and signatures are included.
- Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide them to briefer/debriefer support, and execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve personnel security issues, providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers to support classified security program compliance.
- Oversee classified security programs and provide expertise across security functions aligned with DoD and Intelligence Community directives and manuals, including: DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5105.21 Volumes 1-3, DNI Intelligence Community Directives, IC Tech Spec for ICD/ICS 705, and NISPOM.
- Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies and procedures.
- Ensure classified program and cleared facility adherence to contractual guidance, including DD Form 254 and subcontract DD254s.
- Act as a focal point for receiving, processing, and distributing personnel security paperwork and serve as a data transfer agent for file ingestion and uploads into government databases.
- Develop, document, and present security education, training, and awareness (SETA) activities.
- Maintain liaison and working relationships with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years. Additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and/or SAP approval/access.
- Strong working knowledge of office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD security requirements, and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
- Demonstrated, relevant security experience supporting industrial security programs within the Intelligence Community.

Preferred Qualifications
- JADE, DISS, and SIMS experience
- SCIF/SAPF security experience, including experience in ICD 705 physical construction and TEMPEST requirements, and personnel and SCI/SAP security experience
- Experience implementing multiple security disciplines, including Personnel, Physical, Communications, and Operations Security program requirements
- Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Industrial Security Certifications, Physical Security, and FSO certification a plus
- Experience with Lenel and Security Information Management System (SIMS)
- Accredited/approved CSSO training certification from an intelligence agency, valid and active
Compensation: USD 75,800 - 113,800 per year.
