Cybersecurity Technologist - Associate - Penetration Tester

As an Associate Cybersecurity Technologist at ExxonMobil in Spring, TX (onsite), you’ll help defend digital assets both on-premises and in the cloud. The role focuses on identifying, detecting, protecting, and responding to cyber threats, while supporting ongoing improvements to the organization’s security posture to help safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

What you’ll do

• Influence, implement, and maintain security guidance, best practices, and controls to protect IT systems
• Monitor, support, and investigate cybersecurity events and incidents
• Support cybersecurity and network security tools used to secure infrastructure
• Enforce security best practices across relevant environments
• Advocate for cybersecurity and help raise awareness of security topics
• Manage external network connections and implement firewall policies
• Assist with instrumenting and deploying monitoring to applications and systems, and develop visualizations to support data interpretation
