Job Description

The Cybersecurity Associate Manager will oversee cybersecurity operations and system accreditation activities for Lockheed Martin Space at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL, supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile program. The role requires a DoD Final Secret clearance with the potential to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to governing documents and security policies while assisting with regulatory periodic assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks across the system lifecycle.
  • Oversee accreditation and compliance efforts for both classified and unclassified systems on LMS FBM contracts.
  • Develop cybersecurity risk assessments by evaluating threats and vulnerabilities, estimating likelihood, and gauging the effectiveness of countermeasures and mitigating factors.
  • Conduct cybersecurity system requirements analysis, translating DoD and Navy policy into system level requirements through allocation, interpretation, decomposition, and validation.
  • Document and brief risk versus cost tradeoffs to customers and management, identify policy or procedural gaps, and estimate remediation effort and compliance workload.
  • Establish system security designs and provide subject matter expertise for computer and network security assessments and validations.
  • Analyze assessment results for compliance with applicable cybersecurity guidance documents.
  • Lead teams engaged in system authorization and ongoing operations and maintenance of classified and unclassified systems.
  • Balance competing priorities across multiple customers and programs.
  • Ensure supply chain security principles are incorporated throughout the system life cycle.

Requirements

  • DoD Final Secret security clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • DoD 8140/8570 certification for IAM Level III (for example CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO).
  • Experience using security tools such as Splunk.
  • Technical knowledge of Windows clients and servers.
  • Technical knowledge of UNIX and Linux environments.
  • Experience with DISA STIGs and system remediation.
  • Experience with system certification, auditing, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Experience implementing the Risk Management Framework across the full system life cycle.
