Cybersecurity Analyst II

Secure Solutions Enablement (SSE) Analyst II supports the Home Depot / THD cybersecurity program by managing security findings, tracking critical exposures, and monitoring key controls across the retail enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Track and drive remediation of cybersecurity risks across assigned scope
• Monitor and drive compliance for critical security controls, including cloud platforms and application security
• Manage cybersecurity initiatives for an assigned portfolio
• Host quarterly capability reviews with product teams
• Communicate cybersecurity dependencies to stakeholders
• Deliver accurate, timely reporting, including reporting at VP and Director levels
• Host regular partner office hours and provide critical support for ad hoc security initiatives
• Perform analysis to understand issues, structure problems, and communicate solutions to stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify trends and resolve issues
• Drive execution to ensure initiative or project goals are met in a timely manner

Education

• Bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Requirements

• 2 to 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or IT compliance within a retail or enterprise environment
• Strong track record driving security initiatives and managing vulnerability lifecycles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build strong partnerships with technical portfolios
• Ability to translate security metrics into clear, professional reports for management and stakeholders

Work Location and Travel

• Austin, TX (remote)
• Overnight travel typically less than 10% of the time

• Typically reports to Manager or Sr. Manager

Schedule and Physical/Working Conditions

• Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about
• On rare occasions, may need to move or lift light articles
• Work is performed in a comfortable indoor area; any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable

Compensation

• USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year
