Cybersecurity Analyst II
Job Description
Mountain Pacific is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst II to safeguard its IT environment through monitoring, analysis, and remediation activities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CIO to help protect Mountain Pacific’s IT infrastructure by monitoring and responding to security threats
- Perform root cause analysis and implement remediation strategies
- Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools
- Conduct risk assessments
- Support and maintain compliance aligned to NIST, FIPS, and PCI-DSS
- Ensure systems remain up to date with applicable patches
- Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices to support a secure and resilient operating environment
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar (with emphasis in information security, network security, and cybersecurity principles)
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
