Cybersecurity Analyst IAM II Intermediate

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst IAM II Intermediate role based in Huntsville, AL (onsite). This position supports cybersecurity program execution through hands-on work in eMASS, RMF/IA-related activities, and troubleshooting using established security tooling while contributing to risk reduction for government and contract teams.

In this Full-Time, Exempt role, you will coordinate with stakeholders, maintain authorization and continuous monitoring artifacts, and prepare executive-level briefings and deliverables that require minimal revisions. Work will include independent task execution with strong communication and professional conduct across the project lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Analyze customer requirements to develop project schedules, set milestones, and support on-time delivery.
• Apply sound judgment when evaluating options and making decisions.
• Perform comprehensive quality control reviews to maintain high standards across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver executive-level briefings and presentations for senior leadership.
• Use research and analytical tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Manage POA&M items to track progress, compliance, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Maintain security documentation, authorization status, and continuous monitoring within eMASS.
• Advise customers on improving policies, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct quality reviews of prime contractor deliverables and cyber documentation.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of RMF, Computer Network Defense, and Vulnerability Management.
• Collaborate with government and contract teams to reduce organizational risk.
• Use problem-solving skills to resolve issues and support mitigation strategies.
• Train and mentor basic-level employees.
• Use cybersecurity tools, including ACAS, ESS, Tanium, SIEM, and eMASS, to produce accurate reports and deliverables.
• Pursue advanced knowledge and skills to support higher-level responsibilities.
• Deliver high-quality work requiring minimal revisions.

Required qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in STEM / Program Management / Cyber-related field (or equivalent), from an accredited institution.
• Experience: At least 5 years of cyber management experience.
• IAM II Certification: required prior to accepting the position (no exceptions).
• eMASS Certification: required prior to accepting the position (no exceptions).
• U.S. Citizenship: required.
• Security clearance: DoD Secret Clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.

Acceptable alternatives:

• Bachelor’s degree in other than STEM / Cyber-related field with 7 years DoD cyber experience, with demonstrated knowledge in cyber and missile defense related areas or other complex, large DoD programs/projects.
• Associate’s degree in STEM / Cyber-related field with 10 years DoD cyber experience, with demonstrated knowledge in cyber and missile defense related areas or other complex, large DoD programs/projects.
