Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Description
Inceed is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join onsite in Katy, TX. This role centers on managing vulnerability management, endpoint protection, cloud security support, and incident response to drive improvements across the security program. The position offers a salary range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 per year and emphasizes problem solving, process improvement, and collaboration with IT Security and Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to enterprise vulnerability management and remediation programs
- Assess threats and identify opportunities to strengthen security controls
- Oversee endpoint protection and related security tooling
- Address IT tickets tied to vulnerability and endpoint remediation
- Assist cloud security initiatives by proposing appropriate controls
- Conduct security reviews for web and mobile applications
- Aid CSIRT activities and investigations
- Collaborate with IT Security and Compliance on integrated solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
Requirements
- Minimum eight years of professional experience, with at least five years in information security
- Experience with vulnerability management and endpoint security tools
- Solid understanding of Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, and IBM iSeries systems
- Experience performing security assessments and analysis
- Knowledge of application security and vulnerability remediation
- Familiarity with networking, databases, virtualization, and server hardware
- Effective communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
