Job Description
Entry-level associate role for a Cyber Security Analyst I position near Athens, GA with paid training and a hybrid/remote setup.
Responsibilities
- Review network traffic and triage security alerts using SIEM tools such as Splunk
- Detect potential cyber threats, support investigations into suspected incidents, and apply standard security playbooks
- Help identify system weaknesses and coordinate with teams to address and patch security gaps
Requirements
- Experience level: 0 years required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Motivation to build a career in cyber defense
- Must live within commuting distance of Athens, GA to support occasional onsite training days and local team collaboration
- U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (support provided throughout the process)
