Application Security Engineer, Lead

Responsibilities

• Implement and integrate information systems, including routing and switching components.
• Build and refine enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate network problems.
• Analyze current network environments to optimize performance and security.
• Enhance security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical networks.
• Support client modernization efforts and operational improvements.
• Contribute to national security missions through engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years delivering application security services such as macro segmentation, micro segmentation, application-aware firewalls, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• 5+ years with next generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or Illumio.
• 5+ years with application delivery products such as F5, Nginx, A10, or NetScaler.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across diverse technologies and environments.
• Experience with DoD enterprise networks and defense infrastructure, including DMZ and application security.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Compensation

• Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract affordability, and organizational requirements.
• The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
• The displayed estimate represents a typical salary range and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
