Job Description
The Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC) role at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency places you at the helm of the Cyber Security Department, overseeing CSSP activities to safeguard the Agency's global IT networks. Responsibilities
- Acts as the chief of the Cyber Security Department, supervising the cyber workforce and maintaining the Agency's cybersecurity posture to detect and defeat cyber-attacks across its global networks.
- Directs the Defensive Cyber Operations and CSSP Division (IT-CSD), overseeing 24x7 cyber monitoring, alerting, reporting, and response activities aligned with network management and information dissemination priorities. DTRA's CSSP is a Tier 2.
- Advises top Agency leadership, including the Director, on cybersecurity strategy and integration with other programs; counsels other IT experts within DTRA and DoD components on the development and integration of new or novel cyber security processes, standards, or solutions.
- Operates in a complex environment requiring extensive cyber security technical knowledge and high-level decision-making to meet diverse mission needs and develop innovative approaches to long-standing challenges.
- Oversees planning, direction, and timely execution of the Agency's cyber security activities, establishing objectives, developing plans, and assigning work across the J6 organization while guiding strategies, priorities, and methodologies.
- Maintains broad capabilities to coordinate governmental actions and sustain intense effort while synchronizing ongoing information-based initiatives and external customer support.

- Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE 450) upon entering the position, annually, and upon termination, in accordance with DoD directives
- Must maintain DoD 8140 compliance, qualifying foundationally within 9 months and residentially within 12 months
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of specialized IT cybersecurity experience

Agency Clarification
